bake broccoli cheese recipe

(After months of journal neglect, I decided to post an entry, and when I hit the post option, a saved draft came up. Iapos;m not exactly sure when this was written but uh.. Yeah. Iapos;ll just date this "well over a week" from the last entry.)

Wow, so, itapos;s been well over a week since I last posted something in this journal. Damn you, Stef; you were doing so well with keeping up with this. Iapos;ve just been so active lately, which I suppose is a good thing, because that means Iapos;ve been doing more than just sitting on my ass all day. Yay for being a productive member of society.

A lot of things have happened in the past twelve days. For one, I finished Eragon last Wednesday. God, what an amazing book. I absolutely loved it. Immediately upon finishing it, I began reading Eldest, however, Iapos;ve only read about ten pages into it. Decided to take a short break in between books, but Iapos;m going to start reading it hardcore tomorrow. Oh, and after I finished reading Eragon last Wednesday night, I watched the movie right after. I was so excited to see it. Please remind me to never watch the movie rendition of Eldest, because Eragon was pure crap. I mean, what a disappointment. I guess I should have expected that, but I just kept thinking about Harry Potter. I thought the first book was great, and the movie definitely lived up to it. Apparently, this was not the case with Eragon. I really can not fathom how Christopher Paolini actually allowed that movie to be released in theaters.

Alright, now Iapos;m just gonna go on from last Wednesday because nothing too exciting happened previous to that day anyway. So, earlier Wednesday I had work and I got to leave early because we were dead as usual (how I make the money I do, I will never understand) and I went to Walgreenapos;s and purchased a box of *DUN, DUN, DUN* Clairolapos;s Nice napos; Easy, Natural Blue Black hair dye. Thatapos;s right. I went there. Again. I went home and finished reading Eragon, watched the movie, became severely pissed off at the movie, and finally went to bed after nearly an hour of scrutinizing the pathetic excuse for a film I had just viewed.

Thursday morning consisted of me dying my hair blue black after a full year of being black-dye-free. It felt great to dye my hair black again I had given it some serious thought in the previous weeks, and ultimately decided that I was meant to have black hair. I am happiest when my hair is dark, as stupid as that may sounds. I reveled in my blue black glory until I got a call from Jordan, inviting me over for dinner. He had bought me some "salmon burgers" from Winn-Dixie the other day and was eager to prepare them for me. I arrived at his house a while later, enjoyed a rather positive reaction to my newly dyed hair, and discovered that salmon burgers are not palatable in the slightest. Jordan fried me some catfish instead, and my tummy expressed gratitude towards him. We were extremely bored after eating, so we took a trip to the Wal Mart in Kenner. Jordan debated on buying a rather large plasma television due to a nice bonus he received at work, but decided against it hours later. I wound up digging through the five dollar DVD bin and bought Spanglish and Hard Candy. We arrived back at Jordanapos;s around 10:30 that night, and I left shortly after due to having work the next morning. When I got home, Sam asked me when I was going to Metairie again. A group of serpe tetras in her fish tank were nipping at the other fishapos;s fins, so she wanted to sell them to a pet store before any serious damage was done. I told her Iapos;d bring her after work tomorrow since I got off at 4:00. With that being said, I got ready for bed, laid down and watched Hard Candy for the first time. WOOOOOOOOOOOW. Fantastic movie I went to sleep way too late that night, and reluctantly awoke to my alarm the next morning.

I got up Friday morning and got ready for work. I was ready early, so I went to McDonaldapos;s in hopes of getting breakfast, however, the line was out to Paris Road. I turned around with a sigh and went back home. My mom made me some awesome sunny side up eggs and toast, though. I went to work for 11:00. We were pretty busy for lunch, but it died down around 2:00. It started storming before I got off, therefore I began to doubt going to Metairie after. I went home and Sam guilt tripped me with her fish all ready to go and separated in containers, so we got in my car, picked up Jordan and made a fish run. When we got back home, I was helping Sam put the new fish into her tank when she noticed a baby fish sitting at the bottom of the bag. She had bought a pregnant platinum molly which was now giving birth. I quickly scooped the pregnant fish into my hand and her placed her into a small holding tank inside the main one. I placed the new born fish into the holding tank along with the mother, and three more babies were born. Iapos;ve never personally seen a fish give birth before, so that was cool. Jordan and I went to Cafe Roma for dinner afterward where I got my usual avocado sandwich. My mom called an hour later, informing me that the molly had a total of nearly fifty babies. Hooray for too many fish. I went to Jordanapos;s after and we watched a movie. I fell asleep after that because thatapos;s what I do.

I woke up Saturday, got dressed and such and went home after. My parents were having a huge party at the house for 5:00, which is when I had to be at work, so Jordan picked me up around 4:30 to save me from parking way down the street when I got off work. Work was work. I got off at 9:00, and Jordan picked me up. When I got home, I was greeted by a gazillion people I didnapos;t know, and soon went upstairs to shower and prepare for tomorrow morningapos;s tubing trip.
